Provider Terms
Last updated: August 10, 2026
These terms apply to you if you operate a business on Petal. They are in addition to the Terms of Service and do not replace them. You will be asked to accept them when you register a business.
Your relationship with Petal
- You operate as an independent business. Nothing here creates an employment, partnership, or agency relationship between you and Petal.
- Petal is not a party to the arrangement between you and a customer. Agreeing the work, performing it, and payment are matters between you and the customer alone.
- Petal does not charge commission on bookings made through the platform as at the date of this document. Changing that would require an update to these terms and a fresh acceptance from you.
Licensing and qualification
You represent and warrant that you are legally permitted to provide the services you offer on the platform, and that you hold every licence, permit, qualification, or insurance required to do so. You undertake to tell Petal and stop offering a service if that stops being true.
Petal does not verify licences or qualifications, and that absence of verification does not reduce your responsibility.
Your profile, services, and photos
- You are responsible for keeping your business details, service list, availability, location, and contact details accurate and current.
- You confirm that you own the rights to the photos you upload, or have permission to use and display them. Do not upload photos of an identifiable person without their consent.
- You grant Petal a non-exclusive licence to display your profile and photos inside the app for the purpose of operating the service.
Approval and visibility
Registering a business does not entitle you to appear on the platform. A business profile is shown to customers only after approval, and Petal may decline to approve a profile, or withdraw an existing approval, at its discretion and subject to applicable law.
Responding to service requests
- Responding to a request is an offer to the customer. Do not respond to a request you are unable or do not intend to fulfil.
- If you become unable to perform a service you responded to, withdraw your response through the app as soon as possible, so the customer can approach another provider.
- Repeated no-shows, repeated withdrawals, or failing to follow up with a customer after responding may lead to suspension.
Customer contact details
When a customer selects you, their contact details are provided to you for coordinating that service only. Do not use them for marketing, do not pass them to anyone else, and do not retain them beyond what coordination requires. Misuse is grounds for immediate suspension.
Reports and suspension
Customers can report a business. Multiple reports about the same business may lead to automatic suspension of the profile pending review. Petal may also suspend or remove a business profile without a report where it has concerns about a breach of these terms, harm to customers, or a breach of law.
Ending
You may stop using the platform at any time. You can close your business in the app without deleting your Petal account; closure removes the business from the marketplace, while the account remains active for consumer use and historical records are retained in accordance with the Privacy Policy. Deleting the account is a separate action. Provisions that by their nature are intended to survive — including the representations about licensing, the rights in photos, and the governing law — continue to apply.
Privacy
How we collect and use data is set out in our Privacy Policy.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms. When the version changes, you will be asked to accept the new version the next time you open the app. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, and the competent courts of the Republic of Cyprus shall have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
