Terms of Service
Last updated: August 10, 2026
Welcome to Petal. Your use of the app is subject to the following terms. By accepting them you confirm that you have read and agreed to them.
The terms
- Petal is a platform connecting consumers with beauty service providers.
- Petal does not verify the identity, qualifications, or licenses of service providers.
- Responsibility for choosing a service provider rests solely with the user.
- Users undertake to provide accurate and correct information.
- Petal reserves the right to suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms of Service.
- Contact details are shared solely for the purpose of coordinating services.
- Users agree to receive notifications about relevant service requests.
- These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, and the competent courts of the Republic of Cyprus shall have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
- If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country where you live, and you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
Petal's role
Petal is a listing and connection service only. Petal does not provide beauty services, does not employ service providers, and is not a party to the arrangement between you and a provider. Agreeing the work, performing it, payment, and any liability arising from them are matters between the customer and the provider alone.
Privacy
How we collect and use your data is set out in a separate document — our Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy is the authoritative document on your data, and it is also available inside the app under Profile and then Legal.
Sharing contact details and WhatsApp
When you select a provider, your contact details and theirs are given to the other party for the purpose of coordinating the service. The app may offer to open a WhatsApp conversation with a pre-filled message. Opening that conversation is your choice, and the conversation itself takes place in WhatsApp, subject to its own terms and privacy policy.
Service providers
If you operate a business on Petal, the Provider Terms apply to you in addition to these, and you will be asked to accept them when you register a business.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When the version changes, we will ask you to accept the new version the next time you open the app. Continued use is conditional on acceptance.
